As the attorneys and staff of Much Shelist celebrate our 35th anniversary this year, we find ourselves with an ideal opportunity to honor the past and look toward the future. When Morrie Much, Michael R. Shelist, Michael J. Freed, Howard M. Denenberg and Joseph D. Ament started the firm in the early 1970s, they did so with a simple, yet powerful philosophy: to think of our clients' business and legal concerns as if they were our own. Their ongoing dedication to clients, the legal profession and our community continues to inspire us 35 years later.
Building on that foundation, we strive every day to find creative, forward-looking ways to improve our client service and operate a better law firm. For example, we recently launched a new Web site (www.muchshelist.com) that embodies our desire to provide useful and timely information about the firm and the many ways we help our clients succeed. We have also expanded and redesigned our quarterly newsletter with the goal of delivering informative content that will help you improve the ways you do business. With that editorial philosophy in mind, we will work hard to make each issue a resource that you read, remember and come back to again and again. Please let us know what you think of Much More: The Business and Legal Quarterly, and feel free to suggest ideas or raise questions that you would like to see covered in these pages. Send your comments to editor@muchshelist.com or contact your Much Shelist attorney.
