The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) will hold its annual spring convention May 18-21, 2008, in Las Vegas. As one of the world’s most important international commercial real estate events, RECon: The Global Retail Real Estate Convention draws more than 50,000 attendees from all segments of the real estate industry for networking, deal making and education. Weier to Speak on Green Design and Construction Contracts in Las Vegas
James D. Weier, Principal in the firm’s Real Estate group and a member of the Construction Law practice, will speak on “Green Design and Construction Contracts–A New Frontier!” on Monday, May 19, 2008, at the ICSC spring convention in Las Vegas. Jim’s session will provide a practical analysis of how contracts can be used to enhance the financial success and post-construction performance of a green project by leveraging the collaboration that takes place among the owner, architect and contractor during the design and construction process.
