Leslee M. Cohen Elected to Executive Committee of Coalition of
Women’s Initiatives in Law Firms

Leslee M. Cohen, a Principal in the firm’s Business & Finance group and Co-Chair of the Much Shelist Women’s Initiative, has been elected Secretary of the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law Firms. A founding member of the Coalition, Leslee will also serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors ending in July 2011.

Comprised of women’s initiatives from Chicago law firms of all sizes, the Coalition is the first organization of its kind in the United States. Its mission is to provide positive avenues of communication, collaboration and guidance that help each law firm women’s group 1) enhance the recruitment, retention and promotion of women lawyers, and 2) support the building, implementation and continued relevancy of women’s initiatives in law firms. Thanks to Leslee’s leadership, Much Shelist has joined an impressive group of more than 30 firms that share a strong commitment to promoting diversity in the legal profession.
