Autumn L. Sharp represents clients in a range of business and commercial disputes, including matters involving state and federal franchise law, motor-vehicle dealer law, federal securities law, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), federal antitrust law, International Securities Dealer Association agreements, trade secrets, government contracts, Sarbanes-Oxley employer retaliation issues, product liability, breach of contract and breach of warranty.

Autumn participates in all levels of the discovery process, including preparation of witnesses for depositions and defending depositions of key witnesses. She has served as co-counsel of record for multiple administrative hearings and regularly represents clients in mediation and arbitration. Autumn frequently drafts motions for summary judgment, motions in limine and motions to compel, in addition to a range of briefings and client memoranda.

IN THE PROFESSION

Autumn is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. While in law school, she was a Dean’s Scholar, participated in the William Minor Lyle Moot Court, served on the Executive Board of the Black Law Students Association, and was Co-Director of Students United to Promote Racial Awareness. As an undergraduate, Autumn volunteered in the Athens County Courthouse Victim Assistance Program.
