AT WORK
Michael B. Sadoff is a past Chair of the firm’s Real Estate practice group and a former member of the Management Committee. He advises owners, developers, builders, borrowers, lenders, landlords and tenants in a full spectrum of complex commercial real estate transactions.
Michael is an experienced transactional lawyer who also serves as a legal and business counselor in a wide range of corporate, partnership and general commercial matters.
IN THE PROFESSION
Michael is a member of the Chicago Bar Association (Real Property Law Committee), as well as the Illinois State and American Bar Associations. He serves on the Dean's Council of DePaul University College of Law.
While in law school, Michael was Executive Editor of the DePaul Law Review and authored and co-authored several articles published in that journal. He is also a former instructor in legal drafting at the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
A certified public accountant, Michael has been recognized by the Leading Lawyers Network as a top Illinois lawyer in the area of commercial real estate (2005-2008). He has also been designated an Illinois Super Lawyer (2005-2008), an honor given to the top 5% of attorneys in the state.
