AT WORK
Michael D. Burstein handles a broad range of real estate transactions, including commercial acquisitions and dispositions; commercial, office and industrial leasing on behalf of landlords and tenants; and condominium project development. He recently represented the developer of a 51-story high-rise condominium project in downtown Chicago.
In his secured transactions practice, Michael helps lenders and borrowers initiate, negotiate, structure and close commercial loan transactions, including real estate and construction transactions. He recently represented the lead lender and agent in a $90 million commercial financing transaction. Michael also handles a variety of general corporate law matters.
IN THE PROFESSION
Michael is a member of the Chicago, Illinois State, and American Bar Associations. While in law school, he served as Associate Note and Comment Editor for the Northwestern University Law Review.
