Joseph D. Ament to Speak at Upcoming
ASBBS and MBAA Conferences
Joseph D. Ament, a Principal in the firm's Business & Finance and Wealth Transfer & Succession Planning groups, will be a session chair at the American Society of Business and Behavioral Sciences (ASBBS) 17th Annual Meeting, held February 18-21, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Joe will present a paper titled "The Challenge of Fair Value Reporting to the Financial Community," which received the "Best Paper" award in its track. ASBBS was founded in 1994 as an interdisciplinary professional organization. As a recipient of the 2009 Teaching Excellence Award for Region 4 of the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), Joe will also speak at the Midwest Business Administration Association (MBAA) International Conference March 24-26, 2010 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. His topic will be "Teaching in the 21st Century."
