Abe is a corporate attorney with over four decades of experience advising clients on legal and business issues in a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on the health care industry. Abe's clients include physicians, assisted living facilities, home health care providers, and hospices and long-term care facilities, as well as entrepreneurs, wholesalers, retailers, commercial lenders, developers, hotels, manufacturers, distributors, and clearing firms.

Abe has represented corporate and health care clients in a wide array of transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financings, reorganizations, and the creation and dissolution of partnerships and limited liability companies. He counsels health care clients on a full range of regulatory issues and processes involving licensing and certification, including Medicare and Medicaid certification. Recent real estate matters include property acquisitions, sales, financings, leasing, and options. Additionally, he has advised companies and individuals on tax planning, estate planning, and family transaction planning, among other issues.

Abe has also served as an instructor at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
