AT WORK

Carrie M. Risatti is a member of the firm's Real Estate practice group, where she represents clients in all aspects of real estate development and finance. Carrie focuses her practice on the representation of developers, investors and lenders in multifamily, retail and industrial development projects, including property acquisition, construction of buildings and infrastructure, sales and leasing, and construction and permanent financing. Additionally, Carrie has significant experience representing real estate investment trusts (REITs), as well as representing clients in tax-deferred exchanges, acquisitions and dispositions.

Carrie is fluent in Italian and proficient in French.

IN THE PROFESSION

Carrie is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the American Bar Association's Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. She also sits on the Chicago Association of Realtors Commercial Forum and serves as a delegate for Much Shelist to the International Alliance of Law Firms. Carrie has been designated a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers (2008-2010). In 2010, she was selected by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company as one of the "40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch."

IN THE COMMUNITY

Carrie is the regional Law Alumni Liaison for Washington & Lee University and serves on the board of Inspired Youth Tutoring Program in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. She is also a member of the Professional Women's Club of Chicago and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
