Jack Shore has more than 30 years of intellectual property law experience. His worldwide practice has included U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, infringement and litigation, including infringement actions in England, France and Germany, as well as nullity actions in Germany. He has also been involved in worldwide licensing activities and has worked closely with top management.

Jack has lectured widely on intellectual property matters before numerous groups and maintains a comprehensive and current knowledge of domestic and international licensing law.


Jack taught "Licensing of Intellectual Property" for 10 years as an adjunct professor at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He has been recognized by the Leading Lawyers Network as a top Illinois lawyer in the area of intellectual property law (2004-2014).

Jack is a member of the Trial Bar of the District Court of the Northern District of Illinois.

Prior to joining the firm, Jack was a patent examiner in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, after which he became a member of the Patent Department of the General Electric Company. He subsequently became head of the patent department of a large farm equipment company.
