Katherine Bonk Lewis, an Associate in the firm's Business & Finance group, advises corporate clients on legal and business issues related to mergers, acquisitions and other transactions involving publicly traded and privately held companies. As part of her practice, Katherine works with the firm's environmental attorneys to identify environmental issues that arise during the due diligence process in transactions. Her experience includes advising clients in connection with professional services and software development agreements. Katherine also counsels clients on federal and state securities laws and other general corporate matters.
IN THE PROFESSION
Katherine has authored and co-authored numerous advisories and bulletins on federal and state securities laws and regulations, as well as NYSE and NASDAQ exchange requirements. While in law school, she was a Harno Scholar and served as Notes and Comments Editor for the University of Illinois Law Review. Katherine is fluent in conversational Spanish.
