Carrie M. Risatti Honored as One of Law Bulletin's "40 Under Forty"

The Law Bulletin Publishing Company, publisher of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer, has named Carrie M. Risatti to its 2010 list of "40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch." The selection committee, which received more than 900 nominations from across the state, based its decisions on each attorney's experience, skill and character.

According to the publisher, these young attorneys exhibit "intelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help the community and, most importantly, a willingness to work hard at one of the country's most important professions."

A Principal of Much Shelist and a member of the firm's Real Estate practice group, Carrie represents clients in all aspects of real estate development and finance. She focuses her practice on the representation of developers, investors and lenders in multifamily, retail and industrial development projects, including property acquisition, construction of buildings and infrastructure, sales and leasing, and construction and permanent financing. Additionally, Carrie has significant experience representing real estate investment trusts (REITs), as well as representing clients in tax-deferred exchanges, acquisitions and dispositions.

Past Much Shelist recipients of the "40 Under Forty" honor include Michael B. Shaw (2009), Gregory B. Mann (2007), Steven P. Blonder (2005), Anne E. Viner (2005) and Mitchell S. Roth (2001).
