Christian Auty, principal in the firm’s Health Care Law group, has been named to Law Bulletin Media’s 2017 “Forty Under 40” list of up-and-coming Illinois attorneys.

The selection committee, which received more than 1,500 nominations from across the state, based its decisions on each attorney's experience, skill and character. According to the publisher, these young attorneys exhibit "intelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help the community and, most importantly, a willingness to work hard at one of the country's most important professions."

A member of the firm's Health Care practice, Christian represents health care providers and pharmaceutical companies in a wide range of privacy matters, including data breach response and remediation, negotiation of vendor agreements and the integration of emerging technologies. Christian is also an experienced litigator who helps pharmaceutical and other health care clients resolve complex disputes, conduct internal investigations, and respond to regulatory and law enforcement inquiries. He has an established reputation as a strong client advocate and is well versed in issues that arise at the intersection of law and technology, including data privacy and data breach response, electronic discovery, data storage and retention practices, and information governance.
